We’ve recently partnered with the Steven and his team at Altitude Electrics, providing the gear for this amazing upgrade.
Our brief was very simple, the running costs of the previously installed 2000w metal halide fittings we’re through the roof, not to mention, being an outdated product, the maintenance and replacement parts were becoming increasingly expensive and more of a nuisance, costing upwards of a $1500 for a simple globe replacement, considering this being a shipping container yard, with constant movement of container cranes and road trucks, something had to be done quick to provide the optimal levels of lighting for both safety and energy efficiency.
Our VIC Project lead met with Steve on site, to access their needs and requirements. We provided a design and delivered a LED 1500w Stadium Flood light with glare reducing optics lighting solution that has not only satisfied the client’s needs but ignited the entire area into reconsidering their lighting outputs, for what is a very demanding environment, where safety and line of sight is most important of all. The result? Truck and crane drivers can now operate with full confidence that a dark spot, is a thing of the past.
It was a pleasure working with Steve and his team, we look forward to the next few.
Cheers, from the Nedlands projects team.
